How does the wireless industry divide citizens on 5G + save money + avoid regulations?
They plan to offer home owners money to place a 5G antenna on top of their home. Watch as this causes neighbors to fight with neighbors over the 5G roll out.
Money, money, money- is that all people think about? You will find out, if this bad rule creeps through the doors of Congress without a hearing! - It Must be BLOCKED!
The FCC plans to amend an old Over-The-Air-Reception-Device (OTARD) rule to allow wireless companies to place 5G transmitters on private homes in your neighborhood, with no notice, no hearing, no opportunity for you to do anything about it. The FCC is supposed to work for the people, not the wireless companies.
Don't let them divide our communities!
Call Congressman Frank Pallone at (202) 225-4671 and ask him to hold hearings on the OTARD rule WT Docket No. 19-71 and stop the FCC!
The FCC and the OTARD Rule:
WT Docket No. 19-71
Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
“Updating the Commission’s Rule for Over-The-Air-Reception Devices” (OTARD)
Allowing 5G wireless “hubs” on private property
The Wireless Industry,”…empower consumers to help bring competitive wireless broadband to their communities by hosting hub sites.”
The OTARD rule has never ever allowed private transmitting devices on private homes to send messages into the neighborhood. It has allowed receiving and sending for private use only for transmitting devices.
However, since the antennas are on private property there will be no hearing, no notice, and no opportunity to object. You might not even know about it unless of course you had a meter to measure the radiation. It appears the FCC is vastly exceeding its authority making this change to the OTARD rule.
What Congress originally intended in a way for Americans to get cable TV signals and internet is now being used by wireless companies as a fast and inexpensive way to get their 5G antennas into our neighborhoods, even if most of us don’t want them there.
Only a few people in this country can do anything about this and one of them is Congressman Frank Pallone.
Please call Frank Pallone today and tell him to hold hearings on the OTARD rule. It’s important to stop the FCC using taxpayers’ dollars to promote the interests of wireless companies and instead fulfill its mission to protect the health and safety of the American people.
