1990's For Health Today? And so... The headline: Frequency used by 1990s cell phones linked to cancer in rats, study finds After 10 years and 30 million dollars the National Toxicology Program released a study not about now. The study is not based on recent use and exposure of cell phones but based upon RFR exposure from 2G and 3G cell phones. That is considered ancient technology. Back in 1990 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) had determined that above 5 milligauss there would be problems with cellular metabolism, but little more came of it. Instead the industry did their best to keep information out of the public mainstream. How many of us are using those old phones today? Most people are on 4G phones and these are not just phones, but as smart phones, miniature cell phone towers - always connected to the internet. So, back 25 to 30 years ago usage the researchers found a connection between the use of those old cellphones and cancerous heart, brain and adrenal tumors in male rats, remaining unclear whether female rats and mice were used in the study. "We believe that the link between radio frequency radiation and tumors in male rats is real," John Bucher, a senior scientist at NTP, said in a statement. He added that external experts agreed with the finding. The studies didn't look into the kinds of RFR used for WiFi or 5G networks. All that money and not looking at the present? Now the FCC will use this study to monitor the potential effects of RFR? Rather ridiculous don't you think! Especially with the huge push and leap into the 5G networks and the enormous exposure we all face daily just sitting next to our neighbor while they stare at their screen. "5G is an emerging technology that hasn't really been defined yet," lead toxicologist Michael Wyde said in the statement. "From what we currently understand, it likely differs dramatically from what we studied.*" Well isn't that wonderful, we begin again the experiment on humanity without knowing what effects our current 4G addiction and future 5G has on health while spending 30 million dollars to keep scientific research in the early days of limited exposure. But we do have an idea what it does. Here's a clever description of its use by by Bridget Carey using a pool table and a dart board at the end of this blog. . 5G does differ dramatically and is not attractive at all. Neighborhoods covered with large power supply units and antennas everywhere - all to eliminate wages for drivers. Driverless cars represent the end to taxi and Uber earnings for people. What happens to truck drivers and delivery trucks? The major employment of men is driving. As for health, the aim is 35 megahertz, a danger zone that with a little effort approaches the military 95 megahertz Active Denial System and more also here. Most important is the extent of harm, disease and death from the ultimate exposure of these millimeter waves to all of us. The lowest exposure level was the same as the maximum exposure allowed for cell phone users, a power level that "rarely occurs with typical cell phone use," according to the NTP statement. The highest exposure level used in the studies was four times greater than the maximum power level allowed. In the studies, the rats were exposed to RFR starting from when they were in the womb. Mice were exposed beginning at 5 or 6 weeks old. The animals were exposed for up to two years, for about nine hours a day (with 10 minutes of exposure and 10-minute breaks in between). The RFR levels in the studies ranged from 1.5-6 watts per kilogram in rats, and 2.5-10 watts per kilogram in mice.
