Michael's personal health began its decline in 2006 gaining momentum as he lost weight and energy. The finest doctors and nutritional approaches were not enough to turn his health around. His illness was soon linked to his sensitivity to electromagnetic radiation (EMR). As the environmental increase levels rose there was a steady decline in his health. He visited five medical specialists, including those from California Pacific Medical Center and University of California Medical Center. Aware of his high sensitivity to electromagnetic fields (EMF) he called PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) to measure the home EMF levels which were found to be extremely high. Dirty electricity from neighbors grounding their wires to water lines created an electric pathway that flowed down the sidewalk turning through into the house. A new electric panel, a new transformer and new wiring provided the perfect pathway for dirty electricity to find its way back to its source. Diverting it by using a nylon coupling helped but still his health declined. Next he was in the US Peace Corps in Ethiopia and Eritrea from 1966 to 1968 teaching science and agriculture. While in the Peace Corps he studied at Allemayu College of Agriculture at Haile Selassie First University. He speaks Tigrinya.
Returning to the US he attended U. C. Hastings School of Law and San Francisco State University studying social psychology. He attended University of Alberta, Canada, getting a post graduate degree in teaching. He has spent several years teaching in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - South Tucson, Arizona, and City College of San Francisco.
In 1983 he recorded his first musical album Journey to Titan (Explorational Music TM 1983) and got licensed as a Street Artist in San Francisco doing charcoal and acrylic art work.
In 2001 he wrote The BIG Vitamin Dictionary, published under Great Highway Productions and an Expanded Edition 2002 as a tool for his staff, which became a best seller for Nutribooks.
