Biologically, the yew is a hybrid between deciduous woods and evergreen conifers. It ages extremely slowly, its wood is durable, resistant and at the same time flexible. This is why the Alemanni and Vikings made bow weapons from yew wood. Yew belongs to the Taxus species taken from the Greek toxon (meaning bow).

There are several measurement methods and detailed studies to prove the effectiveness of RayGuard devices, e.g. positive changes in the blood count from using RayGuard can be demonstrated via dark field microscopy!
